First HAAC board meeting of the year!

The Hanover Arts and Activities Center Board of Directors met for the first meeting of this new year last night. At 6:00, the executive board welcomed new members with dinner and an informal meeting to share information about the center and the responsibilities of board members. Following a great dinner and lots of sweet desserts, the new members had a tour of the building and settled in for the first meeting of the fall. There was plenty to discuss and plans to be made for this winter. Our guest was Curtis Shifflet, professional grant writer who will be working with the board and our executive director to help bring more grants our way! Next month we're looking forward to a Committee Faire-chairs for the HAAC standing and special committees will be providing information to other members about committee meetings times, jobs and goals.

We're so glad to have a little spot where we can let you know not only what's happening at the center but give you a little insight on what goes on behind the scenes, how an event is organized and run, summaries of events in case you missed one and thoughts about the progress of the center.
