Fall and Halloween at HAAC!

Happy Weekend everyone-
THANKS for the amazing posts Jen! They're loaded with so much new information I can hardly stand it. We are so lucky to share in your enthusiasm and grateful to you for getting your committee together and having such an incredibly successful meeting! You. are. the. bees. knees. It's such a wonderful look at what goes on behind the scenes and boy, plenty does for sure!
I'm also so excited to work with Curtis Shifflet, who is working with the board and offering advice on grant writing and tips for center improvement. We have lots to learn and luckily, we have so many dedicated board members, good things are already starting to happen!
Our next board meeting will be at 7:30 on Thursday, October 22-we'll chat a little about the budget, Halloween Happenings, the holidays, fundraising ideas and much more I'm sure! I'm looking forward to it-so many hardworking volunteers with exceptional and creative minds.
HAAC couldn't be in better hands!

HALLOWEEN is my favorite holiday...I always take a stroll down to the center to find out who WON the costume contest! Thanks Elizabeth for getting me psyched about this event.

The Hanover Arts and Activities Center is a non-profit organization that sponsors and supports community events. We are run by a Board of Directors and community volunteers who work to continue the mission of the center. Our board is comprised of thirty-two active members, serving on various committees throughout the year. Meetings are held monthly for discussion and decision-making. New members are welcomed once a year, in the spring and are voted on by the existing board. For more information on the center (HAAC), visit www.hanoverarts.org

February Member Profile: Patrick Warren

Patrick Warren is a wonderful addition to our board and also the youngest board member. Thanks for keeping us on our toes Patrick! Did you know that Patrick was one of the first Hanover Idols and also sang one of the best versions of Mustang Sally in the Ashland Musical Variety Show that's ever been heard on the East Coast? You may have recently seen him selling tickets at our Hullabaloo party a couple of weeks ago too or dancing with his lovely wife Casey. We love having Patrick on our board and look forward to many more years of his positive spirit and dedication to the center!
